The humans behind the mesh.
Every Deep and Enterprise POC gets reviewed by a named operator or investor with real credentials in the founder's vertical. The mesh catches most things. Humans catch what the mesh can't.
What reviewers do
The mesh runs four steps: generate, verify, attack, and a human gate. That last step is where a named reviewer with real experience in the founder's vertical reads the artifact before it ships. The mesh's critics catch most factual, market-fit, and sourcing problems on their own. What's left after that is judgment: does this actually hold up for a HealthTech seed round, would a FinTech operator recognize this compliance approach, is this pitch defensible in the room. That's what human reviewers are for.
The current bench
We're building the bench one signed reviewer at a time. Until a seat has a real name attached to it, we show the role instead of inventing a person to fill it. Here's the structure we're recruiting into, color-coded by vertical the way it will read once the bench is public.

How reviewers get matched
Every Deep and Enterprise POC gets routed to a reviewer whose specialty matches the founder's vertical. A HealthTech founder gets read by someone who has actually worked in HealthTech, not a generalist skimming for typos. Reviewers see the full artifact plus the mesh's critic notes, so they're not starting from zero, and they can send it back for revision before it ever reaches the founder.
The reviewer contract
Reviewers aren't graders. They're accountable for the artifact reaching the standard we promised, on the timeline we promised. If those two things are ever in tension, the timeline loses.
"If we can't ship the POC at the quality it deserves in the promised timeline, we extend the timeline. We don't compromise the quality."
The bench is by application only.
We're looking for operators and investors with 8+ years of experience who can commit to reviewing two to three POCs a month. What matters most is a track record of intellectual honesty. Telling a founder their model doesn't work is worth more to us than a rubber stamp.
Reviewers are compensated $200–400 per POC, plus visibility: reviewer commentary shows up in Field Notes and case studies under your name.
